Magpas Challenge

300-mile Wheelchair Push Challenge

Magpas Air Ambulance - 300 Miles Wheelchair Push by 7th September, 2025.

Scott Dwyer is pushing his wheelchair 300 miles by 7th September, 2025 for Magpas Air Ambulance, when he realised there was NO Government funding and wanted to show his depth of gratitude to all of the team of Magpas for the fine work -"Simply put - I owe them my life". Having already completed 100 miles in May 2025, and raised £5,950 (the equivalent to two air missions) on his initial £10,000 target, in one month, he then increased it to 300 miles. On a larger scale, Scott would like to raise £100k for this critical life saving service charity. We have been fortunte enough to go on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire (*live interview) and ITV Anglia News (TV Broadcast) promoting the challenge and awareness of Magpas Air Ambulance.

It's been a long, long road.....

With five surgeries down, and four surgeries to go - it has been a long road for Scott in terms of rehabilitation and recovery with the level of injuries and pain management to consider. With the love of his family and close friends has kept him powering on and now wants to develop a safety product based on his accident, that leads to an Aftercare Trauma Foundation to help others in the future and leave a legacy he is proud of.

Focus to achieve 300 miles....

From the 1st May 2025 until the 31st May, 2025 - Scott has pushed EVERY day, most times ranging from 3.8km to 8.1Km *2.5/3miles to 7.5 miles raising awareness and sponsorship, even when pushing or in the local village shop, to travelling to London to the BBC. He will do all he can to reach his target sponsorship of £10,000, please read his story and donate below.
